As of today, 804 cases of measles have been confirmed in Auckland this year.
The Public Health Service's Dr William Rainger says they're waiting for blood test results to confirm the case in the next couple of days.
He says if people were exposed they wouldn't be infectious until this coming weekend - so there's plenty of time to provide quarantine advice.
