The measles outbreak has reached inside Auckland's prisons
11 September 2019
Three prisoners have been isolated at Auckland Regional Women's Corrections Facility after concerns they'd been exposed to measles.
The Mothers with Babies Unit has been placed in quarantine as a precaution.
The number of measles cases yesterday reached 1149 with 959 of those in Auckland.
Stocks of the measles vaccines are being moved around the country to get them to the clinics in greatest need.
