The Australian opener had a dismal Ashes series, scoring 95 runs at an average of 9.5 in the five tests.
It's the lowest record of any opener to have played at least 10 innings in one series.
D'Arcy averaged 13.6 in New Zealand's 1958 tour of England at an average of 13.6.
