Flights between Auckland, and Nelson, Napier, New Plymouth and Palmerston North will stop from the end of November.
Flights between Nelson and Wellington will also be scrapped.
Customers already booked on flights will given a range of options -- including a complete refund.
Air New Zealand will also offer affected customers a seat on the same route on the same day - for no more than 50-dollars each way.
All staff will be offered other positions with JetStar and Qantas.
JetStar will continue to operate between main centres.
