Joseph Parker is out of his heavyweight boxing bout against Derek Chisora this month due to illness

Joseph Parker is out of his heavyweight boxing bout against Derek Chisora this month due to illness

Promoter Eddie Hearn has tweeted that Parker has pulled out of the October 26 bout and they are working on a suitable replacement.

Former 1500 metres world champion Steve Cram wants Mo Farah to stop getting accused of guilt by association.

The four-time Olympic champion's ex-coach Alberto Salazar has been given a four-year ban by the US Anti-Doping Agency for possessing and trafficking testosterone while working at the Nike Oregon Project.

Cram, a Nike ambassador himself, has told the BBC that doesn't mean Farah's doped.

New Zealand cricket captain Kane Williamson's confirmed pace bowler Lockie Ferguson will be in the test selection frame this summer.

The Black Caps have series against England, Australia and India.

Ferguson's 21 World Cup wickets - the second-most behind Australia's Mitchell Starc - have had pundits speculating when the 28-year-old will be introduced in the longest form.

Argentine captain Agustin Creevy has added spice to his side's crunch Pool C match against England at the rugby World Cup this weekend.

The Pumas must win to have any chance of making the quarter-finals... and Creevy's described England as... "boring".
