The sanction will see Asofa-Solomona miss next week's test against Australia and two matches with Great Britain.
It's a huge blow for the Kiwis, who are already without injured forwards Jesse Bromwich and James Fisher-Harris.
The NRL and Storm's also handed the prop a suspended $16,000 fine but he is free to play in round one next season.
Asofa-Solomona admits he could've handled the altercation which involved defending his teammate Suliasi Vunivalu, better.
