Henry Nicholls isn't focussing too much on international duty, so long as the domestic season takes up his schedule

Nicholls is in action for Canterbury against Northern Districts on day two of the opening round of the Plunkett Shield, having smacked a century on day one at Hagley Oval.

Although the Black Caps international series with England is fast approaching, Nicholls is keeping his mind on Canterbury for now.

Canterbury begin day two 327 for eight after 96 overs.

Elsewhere Wellington are in control after dismissing Otago for 199 and beginning their innings 94 for one.

Auckland start the day185 for seven with Central Districts yet to bat.
