Defense at a Dunedin murder trial argue blood found in the accused doctor's car could've been his

32-year-old Venod Skantha is on trial at the High Court - where police allege Skantha murdered 16-year-old Amber-Rose Rush.
Blood stains were later found in the passenger seat of his car.
But today his lawyer Jonathan Eaton has revealed Skantha went to the emergency room the day after the death - because he'd cut his finger.
Eaton says blood found in his house - on a sword and in the kitchen sink - was shown to belong to him.
