    A man has been arrested, after a woman died falling from a vehicle in Northland


    Police say the woman fell to the road near the intersection of State Highway 1 and State Highway 12, near Ohaeawai, about 9.30 last night.

    A 41-year-old man has been charged with driving dangerously causing death, driving while disqualified, and failing to stop or ascertain injury or death after crash.

    He's expected to appear in the Kaikohe District Court this afternoon.
