It's Singles Day... an online shopping frenzy that started back in 2009 as an anti-Valentines Day.
New Zealand Post's general manager of business marketing, Chris Wong, says it's the start of a hugely demanding period for them.
He says New Zealand Post moved about 14.5 million parcels in November and December last year, and he's expecting the same period this year will be the largest in their history.
Chris Wong says online shopping grew by around 18 percent in 2018, compared to just two percent for regular shops.
