A call for better communication around closures in Auckland when the next stage of the City Rail Link gets underway

Mt Eden train station will be closed for four and a half years from June next year, and there'll be staggered closures of Victoria and Wellesley Streets over two and a half years.
AA spokesperson Barney Irvine says the transport network will be severely disrupted over the coming years.
Irvine says Auckland Transport will have to do a much better job at managing its work programme and telling people what to expect.
