The west coast of the South Island is expected to get another burst of heavy rain this evening

The west coast of the South Island is expected to get another burst of heavy rain this evening

Yesterday motorists were advised to delay travel in the region because of the heavy rain.

MetService forecaster Cameron Coutts says rain on the West Coast is easing - but says there's a chance of thunderstorms and hail in parts of the country this evening.
