A new website has been launched today in the hopes of connecting whanau to their whenua

A new website has been launched today in the hopes of connecting whanau to their whenua

The Ministry of Maori Development created Tupu.co.nz to support Maori landownership.

The website brings together resources and on-line tools that advise people on how to govern and develop their ancestral land.

Minister Nanaia Mahuta says it's a good time to promote change.

She says the Government is dedicated to the Maori economy - not only for the benefit of landowners but also for wider regional growth.
