The Crusaders have made it 11 wins in a row against their oldest Super Rugby rival

The Crusaders have made it 11 wins in a row against their oldest Super Rugby rival

The three-time defending champions have dealt with the Blues 25-8 at Eden Park, running in three tries to one.

Coach Scott Robertson says they failed to take advantage of opportunities on attack, which was luckily cancelled out by their committed work on their own line.

The Breakers have kept alive their hopes of the Australian basketball league playoffs.

They've beaten the South East Melbourne Phoenix 92-83 in Christchurch to move back to fourth on the ladder.

It now means if fifth-placed Melbourne United defeat the Phoenix tomorrow, they'll deny the Breakers a spot in the finals, while for Brisbane to have any hope, they have to trounce Cairns by at least 32 points tonight.

The Warriors have been demolished 34-nil by the Newcastle Knights in their opening game of the NRL Perth Nines.

The women's side have beaten the Roosters 13-8.
