The government is being praised for its new vaping legislation

This will include a ban on selling to under-18-year-olds, advertising - and restricting most flavours to speciality stores.

Vaping Trade Association spokesperson Jonathan Devery (DEVER-ree) says overall it's a good piece of legislation but he doesn't agree with the ban on advertising altogether.

He says there needs to be clear communication to the community about the benefits of vaping.
