A school principal wants retailers to bear more responsibility when it comes to vaping

A school principal wants retailers to bear more responsibility when it comes to vaping

The Government's unveiled a bill that would ban the sale of vaping products to under 18s, and restrict the sale of some flavours to specialty stores.

Glendowie College Principal and Auckland Secondary School Principals' Association president Richard Dykes wants there to be licensing and monitoring of sellers ...

And he wants retailing rules to go further still.

Dykes plans to tell the Select Committee that retailers should have to advertise quit-smoking programs that go further than simply switching from smoking to vaping.
