    A homicide investigation has been launched, following a firearms incident in the Far North

    A homicide investigation has been launched, following a firearms incident in the Far North


    Police were called to the corner of Heke and Hongi Streets in Kaikohe at 8.45pm, following reports of a firearm being discharged.

    A man was found in a critical condition at the scene.

    He died while being flown to hospital in Auckland.
