The largest prize claimed went to a Hibiscus Coast couple, who won 44 million in 2016.
The odds of winning Powerball sit at about one in 38 million - meaning there's a good chance the 42 million will roll over until Saturday's draw.
Lotto's jackpot starts at 4 million and increases each time until it's won or reaches 50 million dollars - when a "Must Be Won" draw is held.
