    A leading doctor is concerned lockdown restrictions could jeopardise the wellbeing of frontline medical staff


    The situation is placing a huge strain on an already struggling workforce.

    Dr Sam Hazledine says across the Tasman, state governments are classifying locum medical practitioners as essential workers and allowing them to travel around the country.

    He thinks we should should follow suit.
