    News Talk ZB Sport -

All Whites captain Winston Reid doesn't know when he may be able to play his first competitive football game in over two years.

Reid's currently with Major League Soccer side Sporting Kansas City, after moving on loan from English Premier League club West Ham.

That season's on hold because of Covid-19, with Reid unable to make his MLS debut because his visa didn't arrive in time.

Reid says the MLS itself will make the call when things can get back on track.

New Zealand Rugby players association boss Rob Nichol is reiterating their willingness to help out NZR.

Player pay-cuts appear imminent as rugby feels the pinch of covid-19.

Nichol says it's in their interest to help NZR out.
