Police in isolated communities will be cracking down on people trying to sneak out to the bach this Easter weekend

This comes after residents of a remote Marlborough community noticed at least 40 families coming out to their holiday homes in the last week.
Tasman District Commander Mike Johnson says they'll have a number of checkpoints in place.
He says officers have the discretion to do anything from give people a warning - to prosecute.
