Tom Walsh's coach will have realistic expectations when the pair resume training together next week.
The shot putter will be able to train at an outdoor facility when the country drops to alert level three on Tuesday.
Mentor Dale Stevenson is also able to be present, as long as social distancing and health and safety measures are followed.
Stevenson says Walsh has still been able to complete around 80 percent of his regular workload while at home.

However Chelsea says following extensive talks, the players have instead been asked to continue supporting other charitable causes.
