The Official Cash Rate is expected to stay where it is today but more money printing is on the cards

The Reserve Bank's making an announcement on the OCR this afternoon and releasing its latest Monetary Policy Statement.

ANZ chief economist Sharon Zollner says it's not long since the central bank said it would keep the OCR where it was for 12 months.

She says more quantitative easing is expected today because it's working well.

Zollner says to make sure the market doesn't start to question its determination, the Reserve Bank will double that to 60 billion dollars or even more.
