Khing Wong has had his first appearance in the Hutt Valley District Court today charged with dangerous driving causing death.
Norriss was killed in February cycling home along State Highway Two near Petone.
His 65-year-old's death prompted nearly 600 cyclists to join a memorial ride, raising cycle safety awareness, and remembering those who didn't make it home.
Wong has been remanded without plea to reappear in court next month.
