Grace Millane's killer claims his conviction and sentence are unjust

The 28-year-old is serving life in prison - with 17 years non-parole - for strangling the British backpacker in Auckland in 2018.
Defence lawyer Rachel Reed QC argues the jury wasn't directed properly about consent.
She claims they weren't well briefed on expert evidence on strangulation.
She says the killer's watching porn after the death wasn't callous enough behaviour to warrant his harsh sentence - suggesting it was a 'distasteful distraction'.
The Crown maintains it's ridiculous to call the killer's behaviour a 'curious manifestation of panic'.
Justice Stephen Kos, Justice Mark Cooper and Justice Patricia Courtney have reserved their decision.
