    Police are establishing checkpoints at the edges of Auckland under alert level three

    Police are establishing checkpoints at the edges of Auckland under alert level three


    To the north, Police will set up five checkpoints.

    The two northenmost will be on the Twin Coast Highway north of Coal Hill Rd, and at Black Swamp Rd.

    Another three Checkpoints will be on the Twin Coast Highway at Cames Rd; and at Ryan Rd; and on State Highway 1 north of the Twin Coast Discovery Highway.

    To the south, checkpoints will be stationed at Mill Rd; River and Lapwood Rd.

    The remaining two are located at Mangatawhiri and Lyons Roads; and at the intersection of Kawakawa, Otere and Matingarahi roads.
