Most Auckland high schools remain closed -- despite being given permission to partially reopen

Schools can now allow Year 12 and 13 students back -- but less than a third of the region's almost 90 high schools have decided to do so.
The country's largest school, Rangitoto College, has invited a limited number of seniors back, in accordance with strict health sand safety guidelines.
Mount Albert Grammar -- which has had a positive case of Covid -- has decided not to allow any senior students back.
Avondale College -- which has also had a positive case -- is working to allow some senior students to return.
Auckland Grammar is allowing some senior students back, for one-day tutorials on key subjects.
