American Magic are in the process of switching attention to their new boat 'Patriot' as they ramp up preparations for the 36th America's Cup

The New York Yacht Club's challenge has been sailing in Auckland since late July on their first AC75 'Defiant.'

Flight controller Andrew Campbell says they can't wait to get their new boat on the water next month.

The top brass of rival syndicates Luna Rossa and INEOS Team UK will soon be joining the American's and Team New Zealand in the Viaduct.

Luna Rossa skipper Max Sirena is about to emerge from quarantine while British skipper Sir Ben Ainslie has just started his quarantine.
