Bay of Plenty wing Fa'asiu Fuatai has been suspended for three weeks for a tip-tackle in the loss to the Wellington Lions in the Mitre 10 Cup

Fuatai was shown a red card by referee Brendon Pickerill in the 66th minute for the tackle on Du'Plessis Kirifi.

Despite being considered at the lower scale of seriousness, the three week suspension was given as Fuatai had previously been to the judiciary for a similar offence.
