    Anton Cooper has finished 23rd in the second mountain bike World Cup event in the Czech Republic


    The Trek Factory rider was seventh in the first race four days ago - this time he battled a cold as well as the terrain.

    Compatriot Sam Gaze had his best World Cup performance for over 12 months, pushing to 43rd after starting 105th in the 13th row of the field.

    The world championships start this week in Austria.
