New Zealand's undefeated best pie maker has mastered the sausage roll

New Zealand's undefeated best pie maker has mastered the sausage roll

Against 606 entries from around the country, Patrick Lam has won the inaugural Legendary Sausage Roll competition.

Goldstar Bakery Patrick's Pies in Tauranga is also the seven-year reigning champion of the Supreme Pie Awards.

The superstar baker says he's running out of places to put the trophies.

He says the sausage roll is a little bit smaller, so he'll try squeeze it into a corner.
