The Ministry of Health last night confirmed the worker tested positive to the virus, and is considered a community case.
The Auckland Regional Public Health Service says the person visited the city's Mezze Bar and Liquor.Com on Queen Street on Thursday while infectious.
It's urging anyone who visited the two premises to watch for symptoms of the virus and get tested if they feel unwell.
