Retirement giant Metlifecare will repay its 6.8 million dollar share of the subsidy, to honour the spirit of the scheme.
Private infrastructure company Fulton Hogan has booked a large profit despite Covid-19...and plans to keep its subsidy.
Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern says the Ministry of Social Development is performing an audit of the scheme.
She says companies which applied for the subsidy had to demonstrate they'd suffered a considerable reduction in revenues.
