A drunk driver who collided with another car killing a Canterbury midwife on her way to work has been sentenced to five years and two months

Daryl Price pleading guilty to manslaughter and driving intoxicated after the crash in June last year.
Tai Dixon was driving to Christchurch Hospital when the 42-year-old's car collided with hers at an intersection near West Melton.
Toxicology results showed his blood-alcohol reading was more than double the legal limit, and cannabis and methamphetamine were also in his blood.
