Tai Dixon was driving to Christchurch Hospital in June last year - when Darryl Price's car collided with hers at an intersection near West Melton.
Today, Price was sentenced to five years and two months in prison for her manslaughter.
Dixon's husband Scott delivered a victim impact statement at the High Court today.. telling the 42-year-old he doesn't believe he's truly remorseful
He says their family, which includes their two young daughters, have had no closure.
Price faced the victims as they read their reports, blinking often and l casting his eyes down.
