It's a female in her 20s, who studies at AUT University.
She hasn't been at the AUT campus since mid-October.
She became symptomatic on Monday, and returned a positive test this morning.
The woman lives at the Vincent Residence, next to the Grand Millennium MIQ facility.
People who may have visited the A to Z Collections store on High St, and the Vincent Residences between Saturday and today are being asked to isolate and get tested promptly.
