The Herald today reveals the then 17-year old student had a shotgun and a AR-15 semi-automatic rifle in their bedroom, when police raided the teen's home.
During their search, police also found ammunition, explosives, knives and sketches of the school that showed targets and planned movements.
The pupil pleaded guilty to charges of unlawful possession of two firearms, explosives and objectionable material.
Now 18 years old, they were sentenced last December to six months community detention and two years of intensive supervision.
Their movements are monitored by GPS, they can't use internet-capable devices and must attend counselling.
