    Last week's floods and sewage discharge have left Napier residents temporarily barred from their favourite swimming spots


    The Hawke's Bay Regional Council is advising people to keep out of the water swimming until tests come back on Wednesday.

    Council Marine and Coasts Team Leader, Anna Madarasz-Smith says these checking whether there are harmful bacteria in the water.

    But she says they are hopeful the tests will come back clean.
