It could be mid-next-year before a container backlog at Ports of Auckland is completely resolved

Retailers have been told some of their imported stock won't make it to shops in time for Christmas.
An increased reliance on shipping imports due to the pandemic, plus the port's contentious automation project have been identified as the main issues.
Customs Brokers and Freight Forwarders Federation president Chris Edwards says it will be at least the end of June, before the problems are completely resolved.
