Moses Ravanes was jailed last July for raping a woman he was driving home in Christchurch.
Ravanes appealed his conviction to the High Court, citing issues with the judge's handling of the case.
But the Court wasn't convinced, finding no evidence of a miscarriage of justice in his trial.
He will serve six years, six months in jail.
