Fonterra farmers are grateful for an extra 20 thousand dollars coming their way when milk markets are so precarious

Fonterra farmers are grateful for an extra 20 thousand dollars coming their way when milk markets are so precarious

    Fonterra
    Fonterra
The dairy giant yesterday increased its price range forecast to six-dollars 70 to seven-dollars 30 per kilogram of milk solids - up from six-dollars 30 to seven-dollars 30.

That pushes the mid-range point by 20 cents to seven-dollars.

Federated Farmers president Andrew Hoggard says the extra income is a positive signal as Covid 19 has created an uncertain world.
