    Team New Zealand is off to the best possible start with a resounding first-up victory over Luna Rossa at the America's Cup World Series regatta in Auckland


    New Zealand's won by an impressive three minutes and 13 seconds, extending their lead over the Italians after each mark.

    Six time America's Cup winner and former Team New Zealand coach Murray Jones says their racing was immaculate.



    Luna Rossa helmsman Jimmy Spithill says they had some issues turning against Team New Zealand.



    The Kiwis next race at 20 past five, where they will take o American Magic, who has claimed a convincing win over INEOS Team UK.

    The British outfit failed to finish after struggling with stability at the start of the race.
