The holiday road death toll is at four.
Ttwo people died in Clevedon on Friday night, and two people died in Henderson yesterday morning.
The crashes are still being investigated, but high speeds are believed to be a contributing factor.
Inspector Jason Homan says every person driving needs to take ownership of their safety, as well as their passengers, and other road users and pedestrians.
He says people need to be accountable for their driving.
The 2020 official holiday road death toll period runs until January 5th.
