A purpose-built facility -- offering targeted support to distressed young people

More than 85 thousand dollars has been raised to build a new outpatient facility for child and youth mental health in Christchurch.
Deborah Selwood, manager of Christchurch's child, adolescent and family unit, says purpose-built rooms help in family therapy.
She says videoing sessions between parents and their child -- and showing that footage to the parent, can offer guidance around their interactions.
