Covid infection rates remain high in South Africa and there's no vaccine rollout schedule.
Heyneke Meyer , who coached the 'Boks to the 2015 World Cup, says it would require a pretty rapid turnaround for the tour to be held in South Africa.
One option is for the tour to move to the United Kingdom, but it's thought rugby bosses there are cooling on the idea given the prospect of full stadia is unlikely.
