There are concerns health delays caused by Covid-19 are continuing

A Waitemata District Health Board survey shows nearly half of women who gave birth under its care during lockdown left hospital sooner than they wanted.
Seven per cent of mothers or babies were readmitted with complications -- which is higher than normal.
Otago University health policy expert Robin Gauld says some people have experienced delays in the public health system and others have been sent back to GPs.
He says it's very worrying and if Covid has further impacted that situation, there will be more trouble.
