8 February 2021
It was triggered after part of a Himalayan glacier broke off, crashed into a dam and sent water flooding through a valley in the state of Uttarakhand .
Seven bodies have been found.
But 125 people are still missing, mostly workers at the two power projects swept away by the deluge.
More than 50 people at the Rishiganga Hydroelectric Project are feared dead, but 16 workers have been pulled out of a tunnel, that was filled with debris.
However, 30 others are trapped in a second tunnel, with emergency crews working through the night to rescue them.
