The gap between high and low house prices is getting smaller -- contributing to another sizzling summer for the housing market

The QV House Price Index data's just been released, showing average value increased 6.27 per cent nationally over the past three months.
It's now sitting at 838-thousand and 826-dollars.
QV General Manager David Nagel says we're seeing a contraction between low and high value properties.
He says we're now seeing some strong price pressure in the upper end as the result of a flow-on effect.
