A man who sold close to 600 kilograms of rock lobster on the black market has eight months home detention and been disqualified from fishing for three-years

Jason Taylor, was sentenced in the Rotorua District Court on 15 charges relating to illegally taking and selling more than 59 thousand dollars worth of fish from the North Island's East Coast.
It was picked in the Primary Industries Ministry's Operation Coastie.
MPI's Steve Ham says this offending significantly undercut the legitimate market.
