Frustration for Port Waikato residents cut off from essential services

Auckland's Level Three lock down border covers the town of Tuakau - stopping Port Waikato residents from accessing it.
People are now having to drive two and a half hours in the opposite direction to get food, petrol and medical services.
The Ministry of Social Development's agreed to cover the cost of food parcels for around one week for the residents.
Mayor Allan Sanson says it makes a travesty of how Government's operating.
He says the easiest thing would've been to move the boundary to include Port Waikato - so they could make the 25 minute drive to Tuakau or Pukekohe.
